It's that time of year again!

Bulletin Board for Art

I've been searching for a tack strip like they have in schools for all the kids' art. They're quite prolific and we have more art than we know what to do with and they/we're always wanting to put it up. The fridge is only so big.

So I got a free leftover bulletin board from work. Owa had art on it the second I brought it in the house, before I could even get it hung on the wall. It filled up on the first day, probably within the first hour or so. I'm going to add another somewhere else if I can.

Change of Heart

After the girls hurt Eli's feelings they passed a new note under the door.

PS We are working on spelling now. It has been a life long struggle for me!

Up and at 'em

I usually have to drag Eli out of bed every morning before school.  I didn't yesterday though.  He beat me up.  When I finally got out of bed to break up the party in the triplets bedroom and told them to start getting ready for school Eli refused because he was convinced it was Saturday.  And today the real Saturday, well he was awake at 6:40!  Let's see if he can pull this off come Monday.

My Lunch Date(s)

I had lunch with Owa today at school!  Last week it was Eli's turn .  Never mind that they have lunch at the exact same time in the exact same place.  They love their "individual" time and I love being with each of them one on one.  They are different by themselves.  I don't know how to explain it.  I had lunch with Addi first and her class meets at a completely different time so she got me all to herself.  Owa did share me for a minute and let Eli get in the camera phone picture above. 

Happy Teeth

A local dentist visited the early learning center to teach healthy dental habits. It took a little convincing to help Eli understand that candy and cupcakes did not make for "happy teeth."

5 year old brains
