I've been searching for a tack strip like they have in schools for all the kids' art. They're quite prolific and we have more art than we know what to do with and they/we're always wanting to put it up. The fridge is only so big.
So I got a free leftover bulletin board from work. Owa had art on it the second I brought it in the house, before I could even get it hung on the wall. It filled up on the first day, probably within the first hour or so. I'm going to add another somewhere else if I can.

that's awesome! I recently bought cables to put up along SEville's wall to hang her art there (we'll just clothespin her art to the cables). Didn't get a chance to put them up before I landed in the hospital, but we'll do it soon.
Cables and clothespins--not a bad idea. I recently bought some synthetic wood trim at Home Depot and some tacks with substantial grip I was going to use before I came across the bulletin board. May still use some of it.
Let me know how your cables work.
I thought of a different project idea...cover a strip of sheet metal w/ fabric and attach that to the wall. then you can attach it w/ magnets and the fabric can match the decor!
But I'm liking the cable idea! I saw something on a nursery that used wood trim and attached the clothes pins to it directly (of course after painting it to match), they were hanging photos. When I get the laptop back I'll check the history and see if I can send the picture!
I thought of the metal strip thing--didn't think of covering it with cloth--that's good.
Love seeing a piece of their prolific art.
