Our first "family performance"--The Fox

We have just reached the important milestone of first "family performance". Owa, Eli, and Addi did a great job and nobody chickened out at the last minute (my biggest fear). I played banjo and sang a great old song called "The Fox" while the kids acted it out. Amy and I are very proud of them and will make good on our bribe of Dairy Queen.

The setting is a church variety show. I learned this song from my dad who used to sing it to us as kids.

Oh wow. That was so cute! Is Eli taller than the girls now? I loved it.

That is sooooo cute! They did a great job.

I also notice you had the bow down at the end. No synchronized arm swings? Come on...

That is so precious and unforgettable!! I am still "mad" at Chris for thinking it was a bad idea to take eight kids to the show (which he was probably right since the baby was cranky). But now I'm so glad we got to see it!!

To Skye about the bows: No, but we bowed on the count of three, and then came back up on the count of three. Bet you didn't notice!
