First Bryce then Kyrstyn now Travis... Kelly your it!!!

Tis the season to get engaged! A few months ago between Clayton and myself we had four single siblings and now three are engaged! Congrats to all!

Travis proposed to Meena Sunday night on the KU campus after the Jayhawk parade. We will now have two Indians in our family. We are all excited for these two. The proposal came exactly 1 1/2 years after their first date!

Exciting Times!!

In what had to be one of my all time favorite basketball games, the Kansas Jayhawkes won the National Championship game last Monday. It was just amazing!! A week later and I am still a little horse from cheering.

Eli and Olivia Celebrating!!

Eli Olivia and Addison are not so impressed with watching basketball. They love to chant Rock Chalk Jayhawk- GO KU but they don't want to watch the game. When I told them we were going to Nana's for the Championship game Eli said, I don't want to watch the Jayhawk movie!

Olivia was sitting on my lap asleep when Chalmers made the tying three point shot. I jumped up and down screaming and she stayed asleep!

Olivia the Monkey

Here's a cute video of Olivia just after she learned for the first time to go on the monkey bars. Since she was a baby she's always had a super firm grip and lots of muscle tone. We keep thinking she should be a dancer, or a skater (or a singer...).

Easter Weekend

Lest you think we are just going to be posting once every 6 months, I am here to let you know that I am going to be blogging regularly for our family! I tried to convince Clayton to do it at the beginning of the year because he is a better writter than I but that didn't happen. I am a believer that in some cases something is better than nothing so here goes!

Packed between work, March Madness (go Hawkes), a visit from Jen (my old mission companion) and Dan we had a great family Easter gathering today after church at Denise's house. We had to get a little creative at the indoor egg hunt. Believe it or not it is still too cold outside.

On a side note: When I went to pick up the kids after primary today the chorister informed me the kids were very good however they had to be told to sit down because they stood up and started dancing durning singing time. Later on at our Easter dinner Olivia told Kathy that she was shaking her booty at church.

Fall Fun

Dance Baby Dance

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

When we were in Oregon visiting Clayton's family the kids LOVED Grandma and Grandpa's treehouse. They even requested to have lunch there on several occassions.

After we returned home they gathered sticks and boards from the yard and did some construction work to their own fort.

A special trade
I am watching my cousin Steven on Mondays in exchange for the triplet's preschool tutuion. We do get a multiple discount which is nice. My aunt Stacey did all the work and set everything up. School days are Tuesdays's and Thursday's from 8:30-11:00 which is just about perfect. I can actually run errands without having three bodies in tow. As you can tell from the photo Addi was not so certain she wanted to be a student. After the first day she overcame her fear and can't wait to go.

Owa's first Drawing

Cousin Avani came to town
Christy and Darshan just bought a "summer home" in Western Shawnee. The kids were able to spend a lot of time together. We referred to the cousins as the quads.

Clayton Just Introducing Myself

I'm the horse. (of course)

Also click on this link to see a very short video clip for the day. It's the kids in the car just after pulling into the driveway from church.
