My Lunch Date(s)
I had lunch with Owa today at school! Last week it was Eli's turn . Never mind that they have lunch at the exact same time in the exact same place. They love their "individual" time and I love being with each of them one on one. They are different by themselves. I don't know how to explain it. I had lunch with Addi first and her class meets at a completely different time so she got me all to herself. Owa did share me for a minute and let Eli get in the camera phone picture above.

Daddy Daughter Dance
Yesterday was the Daddy Daughter Dance at the Turner Rec Center. Maybe 15 or 17 of us dads with our daughters, dinner, dancing, candy crafts, musical chairs, limbo, more dancing, and cookies.
We had a great time and it was really special to be with my two lovely daughters for this once-a-year occation. Amy always sets it up for us.
The girls love to dance and be treated like princesses, which I tell them they are. They love for me to swing them, they love to twirl, and I love to cuddle them, so it was really fun.
The organizers said it was really fun to watch them. They'd skip around in opposing circles around me while I danced by myself, they'd run around me as I held their hands, I dipped them, I'd take their arms and spin them both out at the same time and then curl them in...really cute. I treasure these two little girls.

You are not coming to my Birthday Party!
If you have ever been around preschools longer than 5 seconds you have heard the "You are not coming to my Birthday Party" threat. You also know that five seconds later the uninvited guest gets reinvited. Which is a good thing for us because just the other morning as the triplets were getting ready for school I heard Owa give the threat to Addi. I turned to Clayton and said, "This could be problematic."
