Recently I have been thinking that it is time to get rid of the pink blanket! Not that I care that Addi has a blanket but it drives me crazy always having to track it down. We left it at church once for a whole week and that was a disaster. Then I met Ann the Parenting Doctor at the Parent's As Teachers Conference. She believes kids need to keep their security blankets or what ever makes them feel safe! So there you go Addi, keep on snuggling the pink blanket!

Robin Hood or Nephi?
The answer to this question depends on the day. Monday-Saturday we call Eli, Robin but when he wanted to take his bow to church we called him Nephi. He is in love with this bow Clayton made for him with a stick they found in the yard. He even took the toys I keep in a little bag out and replaced them with his bow and arrow to act as his quiver.

Cooking Goose in vain
All my efforts of keeping these kids out of EVERYTHING are in vain. We had locks on the closet doors in the play room so they couldn't drag every last toy out. Of course now they have figured out how to just unlock them. One of the little rascals (pick your triplet) stands on Eli's work bench or a play kitchen and then they take a stick pony and pry the lock loose. The toy room is no longer secure. I mean what kids can't play in their own toy room! Mine, that's whose.
And last night another diaster happened. With the scissors. Barber Eli chopped off the back of Olivia's long beautiful curly hair. I took her to get it fixed today and I have to admit that it is really cute but I miss her hair. I just started crying when I saw it. Addi came to the kitchen where I was loading the dishwasher and talking on the phone and informed me that Eli and Owa were cutting each others hair for real. And she was telling the truth too! I called Clayton and then my mom crying leaving messages with both. They were relieved when they found out it was only hair that was cut off. Clayton said when he picked up the message and heard how distraught I was that something serious happened. Then I said Eli cut Olivia's ..... and finger was running through his mind before I got the word hair out. So needless to say he and my mom were both really happy when they found out it wasn't a body part.
Lucky for me I caught them at the bathroom sink this time before the water was out in the hallway like a couple weeks ago! I am frantically reading the parenting book 123 Magic. I will let you know if it helps!
First Bryce then Kyrstyn now Travis... Kelly your it!!!
Tis the season to get engaged! A few months ago between Clayton and myself we had four single siblings and now three are engaged! Congrats to all!
Travis proposed to Meena Sunday night on the KU campus after the Jayhawk parade. We will now have two Indians in our family. We are all excited for these two. The proposal came exactly 1 1/2 years after their first date!

Exciting Times!!
In what had to be one of my all time favorite basketball games, the Kansas Jayhawkes won the National Championship game last Monday. It was just amazing!! A week later and I am still a little horse from cheering.

The Victory Dance

Eli and Olivia Celebrating!!
Eli Olivia and Addison are not so impressed with watching basketball. They love to chant Rock Chalk Jayhawk- GO KU but they don't want to watch the game. When I told them we were going to Nana's for the Championship game Eli said, I don't want to watch the Jayhawk movie!
Olivia was sitting on my lap asleep when Chalmers made the tying three point shot. I jumped up and down screaming and she stayed asleep!
